Jill is the winner of our longest service award having been with Noah’s Ark since 1992. She started as a receptionist and has established herself nicely as our bookkeeper. She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from VCU. Jill and her husband, Mark, have two daughters, Samantha and Amanda. Jill enjoys reading, video games, and spending time on the water with her family. She shares her home with three kitties “Pixie”,” Newt”, and “Butterbean”.
Cori joined Noah’s Ark in August 2000. She obtained an Associated Degree in Veterinary Technology at Cedar Valley College in 2008. Cori is an active member of the VALVT. Continuing Education, Dentistry, Anesthesia, and Surgical Assisting are some of her professional interests. She shares her home with her husband of 12 years, Dave. They have 2 “fur babies”; Jackie and Laroux. In her free time she enjoys baking, gardening, exercising, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Tammy is a Virginia native, hailing from Hampton, VA. She and her husband Peter have been married over 30 years and share their home in “the burg” with “Rome P’ullo”, an adorable Shih-Tzu. Nick named “Romeo”, this adorable and boisterous pup rules the house.Tammy enjoys quiet walks on the beach, cruising Hawaii, Europe and favorite spots in the Caribbean with her hubby. Hobbies include cage diving with sharks, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. Tammy is an avid supporter of charities such as World Wildlife Fund, The Humane Society of the United States and Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
Front Desk Supervisor
Rob joined Noah’s Ark in 2002 as a veterinary assistant initially part time until becoming full time Kennel Supervisor. A man of many interests Rob is a Civil War enthusiast regularly participating in re-enactments, leading knowledge filled tours of Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and the Yorktown Area. Rob and his wife Tammy are supporters of Sheltie rescue having had many through the years. They now live in Williamsburg with their shelties Madison, Katie, Cinder, Merlin, ZephR and newest edition Onyx.
Senior Veterinary Assistant
Carol joined the team at the front desk of Noah’s Ark in March of 2016. A Liberal Arts graduate of the University of Virginia, she previously worked as a veterinary assistant for 5 years while living in Oxford and Natchez, Mississippi. She then worked 9 years in technical support for a software company in San Francisco before returning to Williamsburg to start her pet sitting business, No Pet Left Behind. Outside of Noah’s Ark she continues to take care of her many furry friends and her Beagle, Sidney. She is also a certified Virginia Master Naturalist and spends time volunteering with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Project Osprey Watch. She also enjoys sunset flights over the James River with her partner Jerry in his Piper Cub.
Mandi joined Noah’s Ark in July 2016. She moved from Mobile, Alabama with her husband, Josh and daughter, Rowan. They welcomed their son Skyler to the family in June. Mandi has been working in the veterinary field for 10 years. She is currently in her last semester of Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technology program. She has 2 dogs, a 9 year old Pitbull, “Tinkerbell” and a 9 month old Pitbull, “Clank”. In her spare time she enjoys family activities and redoing furniture.
LVT in training
Matt joined Noah’s Ark in June of 2013 with four years of prior kennel work. He has lived in Williamsburg since 2001. When not working, he enjoys taking his Dalmatian, “Anna”, for long walks in local parks, reading, tinkering, and playing hobby board games.
Please meet “Shaka.” Shaka came to us at 17 years of age from an owner who became allergic. She is an African Grey Parrot who is learning to bark as well as learning a few human words. Although she is leery of being touched, everyone enjoys her talking, singing, whistling and dancing.
Donna is a former Military Brat who has the opportunity to travel the world due to her father’s military service. She attended Austin Peay State University with a major in Early Childhood Education. She has a passion for music and has road tripped extensively to see some of her favorite bands. She currently resides in Newport News with her fur baby Dexter.
Vanessa has been working at Noah’s Ark as a treatment assistant since 2016. She has been working in the veterinary field for nine years. Vanessa attended VCU and studied Biology/Pre Vet. Vanessa has a sweet miniature poodle named Buddy, whom she adores, along with two kitties named Kevin and Wilson. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, church, live music, and trying new places to eat.
Teresa joined Noah’s Ark in April of 2018. She moved to Williamsburg two years ago from Michigan and the San Francisco Bay area before that. Teresa has a background in medical administration and had her own medical transcription business for ten years. In her new season of life she has chosen to leave all that to work in an environment surrounded by puppies, kittens and happy clients. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, traveling and scrapbooking. In addition to her children, and grandchildren, she is the proud pet mama to a Rottweiler named “Bella” and a cat named “Stella”.
Tamara joined Noah’s Ark in March of 2019. She is planning a move to Williamsburg from Hampton in the near future. After taking a break from schooling, Tamara will be resuming her academic career soon. She shares her home with her roommate and “Gracie” her rescued Lab mix. Her favorite hobby is music.
Tracy joined Noah’s Ark in June of 2019. She has been a member of the Yorktown community since September 2018. Tracy has an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science from Appalachian State University. She shares her home with her husband, Guy and their German Shepherd “Windsor”. Tracy enjoys hiking, European travel (especially Scotland), and exploring the coast of Virginia.
Abigail joined Noah’s Ark in May of 2019. She has lived in Williamsburg for the past 10 years and is currently enrolled at James Madison University. Her studies focus on Pre-Medicine with plans to become a pediatrician. Abigail splits her time between living with her family in Williamsburg and her roommates at school. Abigail furry friends include “Emma” the Pitbull, “Piper” and “Pyewacket” the kitties. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
Cindy joined Noah’s Ark in June of 2019. She have lived in Williamsburg for 12 years. She is currently enrolled at San Juan College where she is studying to become a Veterinary Technician. Cindy shares her home with her family and two Huskies, “Zoe” and “Claire” and her cat “Cosmo”. She spends her free time reading and traveling.
Aaron joined Noah’s Ark in April of 2019. He currently lived is Williamsburg, where he attends Thomas Nelson Community College. His studies focus on business administration with hopes for government work once his studies are completed. Aaron lives at home with his father, stepmother, brother and his Shih-Tzu “Sophie”. In between work and classes he enjoys bowling, disk golf and exercising.
Heidi joined Noah’s Ark in August 2018 after moving to Williamsburg from Huntsville, Alabama with her husband Jon and daughter Elyse and 2 horses Mira and Donata. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of science majoring in veterinary technology in 2007. Heidi enjoys horseback riding, boating, kayaking, and hiking.
Siedah joined Noah’s Ark in July of 2019. She resides in the Denbigh area and has worked in veterinary medicine for 11 years. Siedah graduated in 2018 from Northern Virginia Community College with her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. Siedah shares her home with her Pitbull “Chica” and her calico kitty “Peaches”. In her free time, she enjoys reading.
