Treatment Assistant

What you'll do
- Support veterinarians with outpatient appointments — wellness, medical, and surgical consults
- Help prepare patients for surgery and provide compassionate care in recovery
- Collaborate closely with doctors, technicians, and your fellow team members
- Communicate with clients — be the trusted voice that bridges pet parents and our doctors
A day in the life
- Prep and maintain the operating room daily
- Care for hospitalized patients
- Clean, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments
- Safely handle and restrain patients with compassion
- Operate sterilization equipment (steam autoclave, plasma sterilizer)
- Keep medical records updated in our cloud-based system
- Support clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person education
What we're looking for
- Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player
- Previous veterinary assistant experience (6–12 months)
- Comfortable with animal handling, restraint, and venipuncture
- Basic knowledge of pet healthcare, sterile technique, and medical terminology
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with tablets and paperless systems
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to bend, kneel, stand, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work Saturdays
